With its eyes of Buddha looking out on four sides over the religious
center of Nepal’s rather large population of Tibetan refugees, the Bodhnath
Stupa is one of the largest in the world. Stupas, steeped in religious
symbolism in nearly every facet of their design, are built to house Buddhist
religious artifacts. It is believed that the Bodhnath Stupa dates from the 14th century.

Patagonian Light

As I filled my water bottle in the stream in the foreground,
Cerro Fitzroy (Named after the captain of the H.M.S. Beagle) was
completely hidden by clouds. Then, sudden strong winds cleared the
sky revealing Fitzroy's towering spires under a magnificent Patagonian sun.
